As the Senior Director of Global Security for the EMEA region at Pfizer, I lead a multinational team of experienced investigators and risk management professionals. My primary responsibility is to protect Pfizer's assets and its patients throughout the region, ensuring that our actions align with Pfizer's purpose, Global Security’s mission, and business objectives, while safeguarding both colleagues and the patients we serve. In this role, I:Provide strategic security direction by identifying and assessing critical security issues affecting the region, enabling us to minimize, mitigate, or eliminate specific threats.Disseminate relevant security issues to senior leaders and stakeholders, develop strategic intelligence, and coordinate internal and external training programs for essential personnel.Establish and maintain effective business relationships with important partners and business leaders to ensure alignment.Engage with business unit leads to provide bespoke security advice for product development, management, and distribution.Initiate, allocate, and supervise appropriate criminal and compliance investigations affecting Pfizer, with an emphasis on public health and patient safety, product integrity, and a secure supply chain.Ensure the security of Pfizer’s personnel and property within the region through appropriate risk assessment and resource allocation.Provide guidance on physical security responsibilities and effectively manage crisis incidents that impact sites, people, and public health within the region.Actively engage with internal and external parties, including government departments, NGOs, and law enforcement bodies worldwide, to detect, mitigate, manage, and resolve security issues.Serve as a member of the company's global security leadership team, managing a specialist team and external resources to achieve operational and business success.
