He has a passion for improving patient outcomes by working with clinically minded entrepreneurs to bring novel technologies to market. He is currently indulging this passion by leading product development at Neptune Medical and working as an advisor for a number of exciting companies.David led R&D Efforts at Auris Health from inception through the acquisition of the company by J&J where he continued on as the VP of R&D for Surgical Robotics. At Auris he participated in raising more than $750M in venture investment, acquiring Hansen Medical, and gaining the initial 510K for Robotic Bronchoscopy. The Acquisition of Auris by J&J in 2019 was the largest private medical device acquisition to date.
