From a management perspective, he provided technical direction and project management to a staff of civilian employees, contractors, and military reservists. He trained intelligence analysts on the use of various intelligence applications such as Analyst's Notebook, Falconview, WebTAS, and COTS software. He was member of the IC Metadata working group, providing IC-MSP technical assistance and working with Microsoft federal contacts to guide the creation of Office 10 to support the XML metadata needs of the federal government. He authored several plugins to integrate IC-MSP with Macromedia Dreamweaver, Contribute, Microsoft Word, and Arbortext EPIC. He managed five separate websites on three separate classified domains. He oversaw a team performing daily analysis on web server log files, resulting in enhancements that decreased errors by 70% while increasing the customer base over sevenfold—a work effort that drew community attention and received a Best of Intelink award.

He designed and implemented several software applications that allowed users to point and click through their preflight duties, which led to a 400% increase in mission readiness. He was handpicked as Lead for the startup of the Field Exportable Training System (FETS) training simulator. FETS allowed Intelligence Operators to imitate flying a mission by recreating mission conditions in a simulator, preparing the operators for combat missions prior to deployment. He programmed hundreds of flight simulations using in-house tools and FETS software and oversaw the standup and accreditation of the FETS program.
