As a psychotherapist, I specialize in helping people cope with stress and life transitions and improve relationships. Currently listed as a climate-aware therapist by the Climate Psychology Alliance of North America, helping people clarify and meaningfully address their concerns in the current climate crisis. I assist adults, adolescents and families in.

I am active locally and nationally in the movement to increase civic and community engagement and strengthen American democracy. As a psychologist, my skills in conflict resolution, group facilitation, and program development are relevant and helpful. Services include facilitation and training, consultation, speaking and writing, and organizational support.

At the American School of Professional Psychology, I developed and monitored clinical psychology practicum and internship placements for PsyD and MA students in clinical psychology in DC, VA, MD and beyond. Taught practicum seminars and mentor student research projects. Advised clinical psychology students on career development, including practicum.

I managed mental health programs in a youth detention center and an outpatient clinic for children and families. Provided individual, group, and family psychotherapy, and psychological testing, for children, adolescents, and families in DC. Conducted clinical supervision to psychology postdocs, psychology interns, and psychiatry residents. Led recruitment.

I performed outpatient psychotherapy and intakes with children and adolescents, ages 3-16, presenting with a full range of disorders and psychosocial stressors. Conducted parent counseling, parents' group, and family therapy (in English and Spanish). Conducted psychodiagnostic testing. Coordinated a seminar series for psychologists.

I completed rotations in adult outpatient and child outpatient mental health services, psychiatric inpatient adult/adolescent and inpatient geriatric services, and family therapy.
