Responsible for the overall delivery of the console assembly for North America Mega Projects- Deliver aesthetic design as built by design and marketing teams while managing engineering and manufacturing tradeoffs. Build and deliver development plan based on key leanings and past projects to deliver an on time and cost product for overall project- Accountable for on time delivery of mechanical, electrical, and software components for the console assembly for all prototype builds- Own schedule, design verification plan, FMEA, and Capital & Expense plan for console delivery

WERLD Engineer - New Business Creation- Owned the development and delivery of multiple subsystems in the Independent Business Units for new to Whirlpool product lines.WERLD Engineer - Europe Middle East Africa - Wash Technology- Led work on the building of the European cleaning model. Led testing to determine how cycle settings impact the cleaning score and understand the important interactions within the wash cycle.- Led testing on several cleaning factors to determine their true impact to cleaning performance and determine whether current cleaning methods are at their optimal levelWERLD Engineer - Rotation 2 - North American Region Dryers- Worked as liaison to manufacturing for NAR Dryers. I was responsible for identifying difficulties in product design for manufacturing process and working to resolve issues for production.- Lead manufacturing stakeholder values in design process by implementing manufacturing requirement specs into testing verification plan.WERLD Engineer - Rotation 1 - Food Preparation- Managed Issue Resolution in Product Development for Built-In Ovens (BIO) and Free Standing Ranges (FSR). I was responsible for identifying, documenting, and resolving design and manufacturing issues during the product development process. The project work contributed to successful product launch by closing several key issues during ramp up to production.- Worked with an International Team on Design Plans for BIO products. Managed communication between team based in St. Joseph, MI and Cassinetta, Italy on a weekly basis. Communication provided a better understanding of the product design intent and led to concept lockdown for Product Development.

Conduct part machining for prototype development.

-Led calibration testing for dishwasher soil sensor. Successfully completed testing and made cycle testing parameters recommendation in time for pilot build. Successful completion and recommendation led to better cleaning performance that will enable the new dishwasher to pass cleaning tests.-Led dishwasher drain hose redesign project and manual orientation project. Partnered with supplier to procure redesigned drain hose check valve and tooling quotes to take through project Technical Design sign-off. Project led to successful procurement of redesigned part to improve draining performance and lower part cost. -Participated in Whirlpool Intern Innovation Competition. Competition consisted of 4 interns from cross functional backgrounds using Whirlpool’s innovation process to develop solutions to the given assignment. Presented our team’s product to a panel of judges consisting of directors from different functions across the company.

-Assist with program assessment including preparing data and reports and maintaining survey data related to alumni affairs-Assist with planning, promoting and executing special events as well as represent the alumni office at various functions on and off campus-Assist and promote projects and initiatives to further develop the Young Alumni Council and Graduates of the Last Decade Program-Co-advise the Student Alumni Association (SAA)

-Developed a Failure Mode and Effect Analysis for new Automation System to process samples. Led brainstorming with team members and contractors to predict possible failure modes and then determined the response to failures for line operators. Resulted in a manual that future operators can reference before responding to failures on the line enabling quicker reaction that results in less line downtime. -Responsible for issue tracking during Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) for a new of its kind technology for Covance. In addition participated in issue resolution during FAT responding to problems and managing testing preparation. The management of the tracking list led to successful completion of FAT for Automation System on the assigned timeline. -Led several activities during FAT and System Installation on site including:Coordinated facility preparation for system installation by working with facilities and the department to prepare the laboratory floor for installation and procure all necessary tools for moving the equipment.Initiated Standard Operating Procedure for operation and maintenance of Automation System. Initiated system network architecture drawing. Allows technicians to trace the network communication of each system on the line to pinpoint communication problems

-Created a model for energy consumption used to monitor a client’s energy use. Energy Model alerts EMS when the company’s energy levels are inconsistent with the model enabling energy cost savings for the client.-Developed a Data Management and Dashboard Reporting presentation for investors to secure funding for the company startup. Resulted in successfully securing the necessary funding.-Developed several different web site layout options for Energy Management Solutions of which one was taken forward as the new company website.
