As an assistant professor, half of my work time is devoted to teaching, the other half to research.I teach mathematics to engineering students at INSA Toulouse (Bachelor and Engineer level), especially in Applied Mathematics.My research work takes place within the Institute of Mathematics of Toulouse. They focus on the asymptotic analysis of partial differential equations. I am particularly interested in their behavior when small parameters tend towards zero and seeks to develop and justify simplified models that can replace them. The fields of application are varied, my work thus relates to the modeling of physical, biological or computer problems.Much of my research is dedicated to the study of ferromagnetism. Since my thesis, I have been interested in the development and the justification of simplified models, in the study of the magnetization reversal phenomenon by injection of a current of spins or the storage of information.A second part of my work focuses on the modeling of collective phenomena (animal behavior, grid management). In both cases, we start from a description of the individual (sheep, job) to obtain fluid models that are easier to solve. The applications of these methods to the study of dematerialized computer services also seem very promising.I was also interested in the flow of mucus in the lungs as part of the project ANR BioFiReady bringing together mathematicians, physicians and physicists as well as the study of numerical schemes in the context of wave modeling.
