I bring to the table an interdisciplinary skillset based on my experience working with engineers of various disciplines, kinesiologists, fashion design/textile experts, and strength and conditioning coaches of various sports through Mississippi State University's Athlete Engineering Institute. I leverage my previous experience from getting my BS and MS in Computer Engineering and working in software development as a co-op at ADTRAN, Inc., to apply industry-standard software and automation solutions to human performance and human factors-oriented problems. As manager of the Athlete Engineering Research Lab, I train and mentor students across multiple disciplines on how to use our gold-standard equipment, with a majority of our studies focused on human performance and validation and feasibility of novel wearable technologies. Most recently, my skills have centered around data science, human performance, grant writing, strong team culture, and student development via workshops.
