When COVID hit and Mangia DC's award-winning in person food & drink experiences halted overnight. By pioneering the pivot to Virtual Corporate Experiences in March of 2020, David continued to lead the Mangia DC ship afloat retaining all staff and tripled in size as resturants and tourism could not operate. Today the company shifted back to hosts in person and sustained remote experiences around the globe striving to service organizations need to connect and build community. The Mangia DC brand is featured in publications such as USA Today, U.S. News and World Reports, Lonely Planet, EATER, Washington Business Journal, Yahoo News, Washington Post, and received the Certificate of Excellence consistently (2015-2019), the 2020-21 Travelers Choice Award & and lead the organization to be recognized as the #1 DC Workshops and Classes & #1 DC Food and Drink Experience Provider on TripAdvisor.In his spare time David volunteers with his team, friends, and family supporting the local Washington DC community S.O.M.E (So Other Might Eat) to prepare food for the less fortunate.
