I currently manage the Kent and Hastings Water Supply Area for Southern Water, producing water for a large population in Medway, Thanet and Hastings districts. I am responsible for all of Southern Water's water supply works, service reservoirs and booster stations throughout Kent and Hastings.

I managed Southern Water's external scientific services provider throughout Kent, Sussex,Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. Responsible for the successful delivery of the scientific servicescontract for all of Southern Water's regulatory sampling and analytical requirements. Responsiblefor all contract negotiations, performance management, relationship management, contractadministration and liaison with all operational staff regarding the provision of scientific services.Leader of a commercial team that negotiated a three year contract extension with the scientificservices provider.Overall budget responsibility for all clean and wastewater regulatory sampling and analyticalservices. Managed a small team of scientific professionals focussed on potable water andwastewater compliance.A senior member of Southern Water's Control Centre Management Team with responsibility forcentral procurement, security and emergency planning.

Responsible for the sales and marketing of AAG's mechanical and electrical engineering business inthe water, transport and power sectors. Preparation and implementation of business plans for variousmarket sectors. Key account management throughout the UK, particularly within the waterindustry.Contract negotiations for major long-term framework agreements were an important part of myremit. Bid management of tenders and proposals for AMP5 projects within several water companies.Predicting market trends, forecasting sales and formulating revenue budgets were keyresponsibilities. Identifying new business sectors and producing/implementing market entry planswas an essential part of my role. Developing strategic business partnerships and joint ventures invarious sectors was a key element to our success.

Founded Acquacura Ltd in November 2008, providing a specialist consultancy service to the waterindustry. Worked on a variety of commissions including market research into the sustainable urbandrainage systems (SUDS) sector, design of hydrodynamic separators, package wastewater treatmentdesign and membrane bioreactor wastewater design.

GLV company).Director responsible for a team of technology specialists and engineers that managed the entireproduct portfolio for EIMCO Water Technologies throughout Europe, Middle East and Africa.Product range included water intake screens, wastewater screens, grit removal, biological plant,clarifiers and tertiary treatment systems.The department included a specialist integrated solutions team that tendered and delivered turnkey,process related projects up to £5.0M in value. Processes include Membrane Bioreactors (MBR),Submerged Aerated Filters (SAF), Activated Sludge and Hybrid Biological Nutrient Removal(HBNR). Responsible for the bid management of all process related projects throughout thecompany. Successfully bid the Bushmills wastewater treatment works project in Northern Irelandthrough a joint venture with Geda Construction, approximate value £7M. Delivered a major MBRwastewater treatment plant at Dunbar for Scottish Water.Working with the Sales department, delivery of the sales budget was a prime objective of thedepartment. Product development was also a key activity as was existing product refinement andenhancement.Part of the senior executive team responsible for company acquisitions, including technicalassessments of potential targets and valuation of intellectual property. Successfully integrated Copa,Jones & Attwood and Brackett Green into EIMCO Water Technologies in 2007.

Profit and loss responsibility for various operational divisions. Responsible for 60 operational,engineering, commercial and administrative staff delivering projects totalling in excess of £10M perannum. Full project cycle undertaken from solution development, estimating, proposals, projectdelivery and aftermarket.A diverse range of projects managed, from a £2M turnkey Membrane Biological Reactor (MBR)wastewater treatment project to a £30K wastewater treatment product. Part of the acquisition teamthat successfully negotiated the purchase of Aquator Ltd in February 2004 and Wastewater ControlsLtd in 2005. Responsible for the Company's full range of Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems(SUDS) Products. Successfully delivered 16 MBR wastewater treatment plants for Northern IrelandWater.Negotiated a major licence deal to take our wastewater technology into the commercial sectorthrough Conder Environmental Products. Also, negotiated a licence deal with Evac (part of theZodiac group) for our MBR technology to be used on ships and other floating structures. Both long-term deals have created highly profitable revenue streams.Responsible for the procurement strategy and supply chain management throughout the company.Successfully bid a major framework contract with Severn Trent Water in 2001 and delivered a targetcost, gain/profit sharing contract over the following five years worth approximately £5.0M.Set up an Industrial Wastewater Division in early 2006 aimed at delivering solutions in the FoodPAGE 4 OF 5and Beverage markets. Successfully tendered and delivered major contracts at Wiseman Dairies,Glanbia Foods and Jasper Meats. Developed a containerised wastewater treatment system that hasbeen used extensively by the Ministry of Defence resulting in major sales of about £6.0M in twoyears

Responsible for the Sales, Marketing and Proposals department. Managed a team of six salesmanand eight proposal engineers/estimators to deliver product and contract sales of between £8m and£14m per annum. Sales were split between wastewater products that accounted for approximately40% of the bookings and general M&E contracting the remainder. We sold mainly to the WaterIndustry with occasional reactive sales within other industries. Responsible for all proposals,tenders, quotations and budget estimates throughout the company.

Responsible for the delivery of all Storm-water products. Managed a team of approximately 20engineers delivering numerous contracts amounting to approximately £3m to £5m per annum.Designed our in house products and brought in complimentary technology from Germany andSwitzerland. Managed our technology principals and set up distributors in Europe, Australia andNew Zealand. P&L responsibility for the Storm-water Management Department. Responsible for allSales and Proposals within the Storm-water department.

Managed a team of approximately 15 engineers, delivering all products and contracts of about £2mper annum. Responsible for bid management, design and project management. Managed our supplychain and was responsible for setting up our Quality control system. We successfully achievedBS5750 under my direction.

Project appraisal of major capital schemes within the Kent division. Responsible for the productionof design briefs to allow the engineering design departments and consultants to proceed with outlineand detailed design. Management of consultants. Checking and approval of design proposals.Responsible for the design and project management of minor capital schemes throughout the Kentdivision of Southern Water. Hydraulic analysis of sewerage networks and the production ofdrainage area plans.

Detailed civil design, contract supervision, feasibility studies, process design, land surveying andPAGE 5 OF 5project appraisal. Part of a multifunctional team designing water, wastewater and sewerage projectswithin North West Water's Northern Division. Reporting to the Lead Engineer, I was responsiblefor the process, hydraulic and reinforced concrete design of major capital projects throughout theregion. Liaising with other utility companies, landowners and the general public was an importantpart of my role.
