Spent c. 4.5 years in IR holding a variety of positions of increasing seniority; Statutory Accounts Analyst, Sarbanes-Oxley Team Lead, FP&A (Financial, Planning & Analysis) Team Lead and Management Accounting Team Lead. - Joined DiaSorin Ireland (medical diagnostics company) in July 2011. Role was initially focused on setting up the new Irish entity, organising appropriate tax structures, hiring a new team, designing processes, implementing SAP & transitioning work from the overseas entities. Next stage was managing a team of six with responsibility over the end to end finances whilst supporting and partnering with the commercial entities (sales & service) based throughout the UK & Nordics regions.- Moved overseas to Melbourne, Australia in 2012. Joined ConvaTec ANZ (medical device company) as Finance Director for c. 4.5 years. Managed the end to end finances for the Australia & New Zealand business. Enjoyed huge success in the role culminating in jointly managing the ANZ business wherein the company exceeded key targets for the first time in c. 7 years. Part of the successful IPO of ConvaTec on the London Stock Exchange in 2016.- Returned to Ireland in 2017 & continued on my healthcare journey when I joined St Vincent’s Private Hospital as Finance & ICT Director. Responsibility over a fast paced, cutting edge, acute private hospital with a turnover of c. €140m. Broad remit managing approximately 55 staff across finance, claims / billing cycle, IT, supply chain & contracts management (primarily private medical insurers). - In July 2022 I joined the Bons Secours Health System, Ireland’s largest private hospital group, as Chief Commercial Officer with responsibility over 90 staff across Commercial & Revenue Cycle functions.
