I joined the web3 space in 2021, first as a trader and community member, and then as a project founder.I worked with artist Sean Solomon to launch a collection of 10,000 collectible art NFTs called Everybodys, for which I handled all marketing, partnership management, and community management. Over the course of 8 months, I was able to grow an enthusiastic community from scratch, figuring out the emerging market in real time. I was able to secure 80+ web3 native partnerships, including an official collaboration with OpenSea, the largest NFT marketplace. We were one of the first 5 collections to mint on OpenSea as a featured primary drop, selling all 10,000 editions in under 30 minutes for a total of 330 eth. The experience of taking Everybodys from the idea stage to a successful sell-out has given me a rare insight into how web3 brands and communities are formed, and I apply these insights as a marketing strategist to help clients navigate the space strategically. In addition to what I learned from launching Everybodys, the process also helped me cultivate an extremely robust network of blockchain builders and creators. The crypto space and its nascent creative subcultures are extremely fast paced and dynamic. The optimal strategy can be affected by everything from niche twitter feuds to macroeconomic news. Rather than approach each campaign with a set playbook, I work from a set of heuristics and adapt daily. Since August 2021 I have been working with a small team of developers to build out a forthcoming no-code NFT minting solution called Mintbash. Mintbash will support all EVM compatible blockchains. During the early development stage, I served as product manager, working to design our functionality, select our tech stack, and coordinate workflow. Mintbash will ultimately support all standard NFT mint experiences, but the flagship features of our MVP are "custom editions" and "shuffled editions." Custom editions let creators upload the layered assets for their NFT, and generate a mint page from which collectors can customize their own 1/1 mint. Shuffled editions let collectors randomize their mint and re-roll until they find a combination they want to mint. I concieved of these two features and collaborated with the technical team to ensure their smooth operation. Currently, my role at Mintbash focuses on business development, marketing, and partnership management. We are in stealth until our MVP is completed, but in advance of our public marketing campaign, I conduct daily outreach to artists, brands, protocols, and web3 KOLs. This outreach consists of brokering partnerships, onboarding creators to our platform, and setting up cross-promotional marketing ahead of public deployment.
I have worked as a freelance marketing consultant since 2021, helping startups, artists, and brands across sectors define their approach to growth in web3. In 2021, I worked with artist and TV writer Sean Solomon to launch a collection of 10,000 collectible art NFTs on the Ethereum blockchain. I handled all operations, marketing, brand strategy, and partnership management, including official partnerships with OpenSea, Friends With Benefits DAO, and PayPal. I managed the project from the idea stage to a 500,000 dollar sell-out, with all 10,000 editions selling out in under 30 minutes. The project reached #1 trending on OpenSea on mint day, peaking at #6 on the over-all volume charts with over 400 eth in weekly volume. As part of the GTM campaign, I set up 80+ cross-promotional partnerships with web3 projects and communities, collecting over 20,000 Ethereum wallet addresses for the early access list. I was able to grow the Twitter to 20,000+ followers, reaching a monthly peak of 1m+ impressions and 18,000 mentions. I grew a Discord of 22,000 members, in which I served as the public face of the project, conducting Q&As, activities, and contests. In addition to overseeing the launch of the collection, I oversaw the development of a proprietary tech stack. This consisted of a novel solution for pushing large scale dynamic metadata updates, whereby all 10,000 pieces in the collection could "evolve" to include a layer of custom animated content. I also worked with our developer to get the project accepted into the Tableland Protocol's "Pilot Program" accelerator, in which we won the “most exciting project” stipend (by community vote.) The project we completed during the hackathon was a smart-contract enabled NFT character builder, which wound up setting the stage for the development of Mintbash (the NFT minting app I am currently working on.)

I worked on-site as at the Knowpia offices in Fremont California, coming on for a short term contract as Marketing Director. Knowpia is a startup focused on web3 creator tooling, using smart contracts and AI to disburse payment to creators directly. I worked directly with CEO Kevin Lai, crafting a 2 month marketing campaign and assembling a team of freelancers to help execute my strategy.
