If a solution still feels complex or contradictory, the search isn’t over yet.My passion lies in modernizing an industry rooted in ancient infrastructure practices, which inspire me to strive for infrastructure excellence. Achieving excellence means not following the crowd. Industry software, designed to be all-encompassing, often slows us down with its complexity and tolerance for mediocrity. I believe in innovative approaches that emphasize simplicity and the highest and best use of technology. Computers should handle the numerous calculations needed for superior, compliant, optimized solutions, freeing engineers to focus on cost-effective strategies.At DSEL, we harness computing power to create designs that are not only better and faster but also add a new dimension to engineering. Simplified visual representations of key concepts enhance the understanding of complex ideas for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.For me, the engineering process is about discovering an elegant, simple solution and expanding it into a detailed design supported by comprehensive information. The final step is distilling this complex design back to its core principles, making it accessible to all stakeholders. This approach requires a commitment to the highest professional and ethical standards, ensuring that every project is executed with integrity and excellence.Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, teaching, and playing unconventional instruments like the musical saw and rhythm bones.
