DAE Industries is a preferred supplier of aircraft maintenance equipment for commercial, military, and business aviation customers.Job Description:Direct, coordinate, and exercise functional authority for planning, organization, control, integration, and completion of engineering project within area of assigned responsibility by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors. *Plan and formulate engineering program and organizes project staff according to project requirements. *Assign project personnel to specific phases or aspects of project such as technical studies, product design, preparation of specifications and technical plans, and product testing. *Review product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, and customer contract requirements, and related specifications. *Coordinate activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems. *Direct integration of technical activities and products. *Evaluate and approve design changes, specifications, and drawing releases. *Control expenditures within limitations of project budget. *Prepare interim and completion project reports.

Job Description:Develop and design detailed design drawings and related speciifcations for aviation ground support equipment by performing the following duties. *Analyse engineering sketches, specifications, and related data and drawings to determine design factors such as size, shape, and arrangement of parts. *Draft detailed multiview drawings of products and subassemblies. *Compile and analyse test data to determine effect of product design on various factors. *Evaluate existing designs and products and recommends design modifications to improve products and reduce manufacturing costs. *Prepare product service manuals and functional test reports in accordance with predefined standards. *Works directly with various departments on product development problems, interpretation of specifications, and problem solving. *Confer with vendors to obtain technical answers to solve problems at hand. *Make engineering drawings including layouts, schematics, detailed drawings, and top assembly drawings using a Solidworks.
