David Schechter is currently the Chief Marketing Officer, US Oncology. Prior to this role he was Vice President of oncology US Commercial Operations. With more than 30 years of experience in the healthcare industry, David has a deep understanding of the US and global markets and extensive experience working successfully with many different customers, ranging from consumers and physicians to the large payers. Prior to his current Oncology roles, he was the US marketing lead for Women’s Cancers and the partnership with Eisai, US Sales Sales Leader for Chronic Care and the the Global Brand Marketing Leader for Diabetes. Before Diabetes, David served in a variety of marketing and sales roles. David led marketing teams for a number of products and vaccines, including the launch of GARDASIL. David received his BS in Economics and a minor in Business Administration from the University of Delaware, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude.
