I am a resident physician at Montefiore Medical Center where I also serve on volunteer committees. I received my BA from Fordham University at Rose Hill with a major in Philosophy and a concentration in Arabic, and completed Fordham’s Post-Baccalaureate Pre-Medical Program. My work experiences are varied. I was a summer research fellow in the breast cancer division as well as a researcher in the thoracic oncology division of Memorial Sloan Kettering while in medical school. Prior to medical school, I was the Media Manager and Deputy Communications Director at Concordia where I was responsible for the organization's communications strategy, social media, and media outreach.Among other volunteer positions, I served as the co-chair of the Junior Council at Change for Kids, a New York City based non-profit that works to increase resources at some of the City’s most underserved schools.
