Effectively review client appropriateness for placement via intake interview process.Consistently demonstrate medical necessity for treatment through well written, high quality reporting in adherence with CBHS, agency, Medi-Cal standards and licensure requirements. Evaluate client changes to determine corrective actions and respond to needs accordingly either directly or by reporting to supervisor as appropriate. Ongoing assessment and summary of client presenting symptoms/behaviors during shift change and throughout shifts to ensure consistent quality of care.

Conduct new hire and relief staff orientation-covering everything from proper charting (according to licensure requirements), note recording and client therapeutic interactions to facility safety and emergency evacuation procedures. Summarize and disseminate incumbent client case histories to new hires and relief staff. Train and mentor staff in social rehabilitation framework through role modeling professional clinical manner with client population and providing one on-to-one, ad hoc guidance.

Conduct individual and group counseling sessions in order to help clients internalize sobriety and recovery maintenance strategies. Assist in collection and recording of client fees as needed. Proactively develop and maintain strong working relationships with client referral sources and other related programs to better assist clients with identifying and accessing community resources. Schedule case conferencing with client outpatient care providers in order to coordinate and ensure optimal continuum of client care.
