I work as a pre- and post-sales consultant. I see my role primarily as a person who can inspire confidence in clients and can then take that confidence and use it to guide the client through whatever development or implementation process they will undergo. In pre-sales, my skills centre around presentation and, even more important, around the ability to listen carefully to what the client says and to both understand it and translate their desires into a workable solution. As an engagement transfers into implementation, I am still there, still listening to the client and not taking a leadership role in designing their solution and in developing the key components of it.Specialties: Business requirements analysis, pre-sales presentation, technical architecture, development.
