I am an assistant professor at Eastern Illinois University Department of Psychology. In addition to teaching and mentoring, my research interests are 1) skills which contribute to independence in adulthood, especially among autistic individuals, and 2) best instructional practices in higher education classrooms. I also serve with the Center for Autism Research and Education (CARE) at the University of Massachusetts Lowell and work as a behavior analyst (BCBA), using both clinical behavior analysis (CBA) and applied behavior analysis (ABA).
