I was exposed to the project nature of developing assets, including the funding, valuations and reporting on assets. One of my responsibilities was the close monitoring and forecasting of cash requirements across the business, which was critically important during the uncertainty of Covid-19. I led the design and implementation of an expense system for the business which had a large efficiency benefit for the organization.

I was the most senior finance person in South Africa and therefore played a country CFO role for a number of the businesses I supported. I managed the team responsible for all product control, financial control and tax functions in South Africa. I have good experience of presenting to Boards, overseeing Corporate Governance duties and being responsible for external relationships with external auditors and tax authorities.
