I have been deeply shaped by jazz, photography, and peacemaking - finding infinite joy at their crossroads: improvisation and constraints, seeing and storytelling, conflict and flourishing.I love shaping multi-faceted, multi-cultural, spiritually integrated spaces and people - through roles as Pastor, Global Missions Director, counselor, spiritual director, teacher, and artist.I earned a Master's Degree in International Policy/Peacebuilding from the University of Edinburgh in Scotland. For more than 15 years I served as a Pastor and Executive Director of Missions at National Community Church in Washington DC, leading a diverse community seeking both ancient and innovative kingdom solutions to the problems of our world today. I led diverse teams and projects/partners in 125 countries. As an artist trained in Spiritual Direction and currently pursuing a Masters in Counseling/Clinical Mental Health, I'm passionate about going deep as much as thinking wide about cultural renewal, solving intractable problems and cultivating healing environments.
