Manage Western Canada Readymix (WCAN RMX) Fleet from the WCAN RMX performance team, reporting to the WCAN RMX Performance Director;Manage both owned and leased ready mix fleet containing over 650 RMX trucks tractor trailers and heavy equipment;Optimize RMX delivery performance employing LEAN management techniques, performance measurement and continuous improvement;Develop PM intervals, content and procedures for WCAN maintenance teams;Lead RFQ and RFP process for procurement of fleet, parts and tooling as well as services pertaining to fleet and fleet systems;Manage fleet related projects and contracts;Understand and train personnel on In Vehicle Management Systems (IVMS) such as GPS and fleet camera systems;Create and implement training for WCAN RMX drivers and operators through a network of WCAN RMX trainers; Investigate collisions for the purpose of continuous improvement and collision prevention; andMaintain synergies between performance, safety, training and vehicle maintenance.

• • Oversee, audit and develop transportation training for western area to include Regular and Reserve Force personnel from Brandon Manitoba to Victoria BC;• Provide daily and quarterly performance reviews; • Coach and mentor instructors; and• Work with a team to develop and monitor national training standards.

• Controlled purchasing and re-marketing of vehicle fleet with net worth of over 1.2 Million ranging from mid size cars to highway tractors and Heavy equipment; • Managed life cycle and maintenance planning of the fleet; • Managed a unit of 37 people along with balancing an operating budget of over 750k; and• OSH&E program supervisor and Workplace Safety Program Evaluator.

• Controlled the movement of a large fleet made up of all vehicle types from a middle management position; • Performed maintenance planning and scheduling for the fleet, to include preventative maintenance; • Trained and tested personnel on vehicle operation and Air Brake systems;• Scheduled personnel and equipment;• Maintained priority of work;• Maintained good customer relations; and• Managed personnel and effectively resolved disputes through conflict resolution and situational leadership skills.
