Advanced ICU Care has been recognized as the 4th fastest growing private company in St. Louis in 2010, a Modern Healthcare Best Places to Work organization, and as the first tele-ICU to be accredited by The Joint Commission.Dave's accomplishments at Advanced ICU Care include:• Finance – Co-led angel and venture capital funding; managed the company’s accounting and finances including audits, 409A valuations, budget preparation, and management and Board reporting. • Legal and Compliance – Negotiated customer agreements; established the company’s formal Corporate Compliance Program and served as Compliance Officer.• Human Resources - Developed human resources strategies and tactics resulting in being named as a Best Places to Work; designed benefit plans and selected and managed vendors; developed and administered the company’s stock option program.• Operations ­ Customer Implementation – Designed hospital technical and clinical implementation processes and led customer implementations.­ Information Technology – Developed IT infrastructure strategy and managed its execution.­ Clinical Services – Recruited clinical and management staff and provided ongoing management.­ Customer Service – Created the customer service plan; designed clinical and customer service reporting tools; and provided ongoing management.­ Facilities – Selected site; negotiated lease; led design and build out and four subsequent expansions.• International Operations – Developed a monitoring center in Chennai, India including: creation of project plan and financials; structured legal entities; contracted for physician and nursing services and IT support; recruited operations manager; and leased/designed facility space. Provided strategy, fiancial and operations support to Ascension Health organizations and associated physicians through consultation, direct programs and services, and collaboration with other healthcare systems. Achieved consulting revenue of $1 million and lead a staff of seven.
