Born and raised in Winnipeg, Canada. Now living in Minneapolis Minnesota. David had a lot of interests growing up but none had as much influence on him than books at a very young age.Fascinated by the art, design and impact a book can have on a person it wasn’t long before his passion for print was born.Not knowing at the time that this would lead him on a path to eventually pursue a career in printing for decades to come.Looking to gain experience in the field, he landed his first job rebinding books for a company in New York at just 15 years of age. David also ran his own vending machine business selling pizza and pretzels to kids throughout high school.These two experiences sparked David’s interest in business and shortly after he completed his degree in Marketing and Business Administration. With a degree in hand and a strong desire to excel in the print industry, David looked for a role that would give him the best opportunity to succeed.Soon after he landed an internship with a Canadian company, Kromar Printing, and as the Account Executive he built a reputation as a leading provider of high-end printing. As his name grew within the industry, he struck up a business relationship with a leading Art Book Designer. This is where he was introduced to the world of critical color and began working with global designers and luxury brands across the continent.Looking to take his career to the next level, David started a new role as an Accounts Executive for one of America’s leading high-quality printers, Shapco Printing in Minneapolis.A company on a mission to provide high-end quality printing services to companies wishing to engage their clients’ audiences through innovative designs and integrated marketing strategies.
