2017 - PresentDavid Schweizer has held an executive leadership role with over 25 years experience in the digital communications and fiber optic industry serving the multi-family real estate market. After relocating back to Pennsylvania from the south, David joined Distinctive Homes Realty in Kennett Square, PA to handle all aspects of real estate transaction management, marketing and operations. David then helped facilitate a strategic alliance between Distinctive Homes and The Burkhart Realty Group to create a full-service real estate firm (Professional Real Estate Advisors - PREA) offering new construction, renovation, remodeling, lending services, stucco and siding replacement solutions, and more. After some time in a real estate agent position, David was advanced to Business Manager and tasked to develop marketing and growth strategies as well as optimizing operational efficiencies. A former resident of Delaware County, David has spent the last 18 years living in Downingtown, PA raising two kids, coaching baseball for 14 years in West Bradford, and currently serves as President of the Brandywine Greene HOA board.2002 - 2017As Vice President of Student Housing Technologies, David Schweizer brings over 25 years of telecommunications industry experience to the Fision U division at Hotwire Communications. Holding multi-faceted roles in strategic business development, sales operations, and client relations, Mr. Schweizer came to Hotwire in 2002 to spearhead partnership development and augment business growth in the multi-family verticals. His extensive knowledge in the full operation and deployment of technology systems in the MDU industry has driven subscriber growth for Hotwire and elevated its presence in the student housing industry. Mr. Schweizer works with the top student housing developers, vendors, and technology consultants to deliver best-in-class student technology systems. He continues to drive growth through relentless detail to overall client satisfaction and affordable wholesale pricing models. Hotwire’s aggressive pursuit to acquire new fiber optic systems and deliver IPTV and FTTH technologies has allowed Mr. Schweizer and his team to deliver applications tailored to the delivery of robust wireless Internet and digital video systems. Its successful approach in delivering these systems to students throughout the country now has Hotwire approaching 30,000 beds in its portfolio.
