David joined MedeAnalytics in October 2021, bringing more than 30 years of leadership experience in healthcare data, analytics and reporting. He is passionate about finding innovative business and technical solutions that can provide actionable insights to enhance the quality, affordability and value of patient care. In his role, David leads the data science organization and provides key leadership to the company’s market, product and technology strategies. Additionally, he helps customers identify and implement best in class analytical strategies and solutions to realize the value of informed data-driven decision making.Prior to joining MedeAnalytics, David served as National Vice President, Customer Analytics and Reporting at Kaiser Permanente where he led the strategy, building, and maintenance of an industry leading reporting analytics and data science functions across the organization’s enterprise, bringing him end-to-end knowledge of the healthcare ecosystem. In this capacity, David led the Customer Reporting and Value Demonstration teams at Kaiser Permanente and was responsible for determining the current and future information needs of Kaiser Permanente and their downstream clients, partners and markets.David has a Master of Public Health degree (Epidemiology and Health Policy) from California State University at San Jose and a Bachelor of Science degree in genetics from the University of California at Davis. Additionally, he is a Certified Professional in Health Information Management Systems (CPHIMS) from the Health Information Management Systems Society (HIMSS).
