- Manage all aspects of $3.2 million IM/IT budget- Set IM/IT direction for Agency of 250 employees including establishment of Agency policy, directives and guidelines in the areas of IT, IM and Security- Recruite, develop and manage the IM/IT and Adminstrative team- Collaborate with senior executives to ensure IM/IT investment was aligned with business needs of Agency- Provide direct client relationship to Agency executives, staff and external clients- Manage team of up to 15 employees, and manage relationship with IT service providers through Service Level Agreements and active engagement- Directe the development of internal IM/IT communications strategy within the Agency- Influence government-wide strategic directions for IM and IT through membership in Government of Canada’s CIO Council and IM Senior Officials network- Represent the Agency with Shared Services Canada for the provision of network, data centre and e-mail services- Support the implementation of the goals and mandate of the Agency’s Information Technology Plan- Managed the deployment of Open Text LiveLink system for the full agency, project delivered on time and within budget- Implemented IT greening strategy including reduction in printers (10:1 employee/printer ratio), introduction of green meetings including tablet deployment, migration to laptops for all staff and replacement of land line telephony with cost effective mobile devices- Managed renovation of Agency’s headquarters, including reduction in cubicle size, increased meeting room capacity and collaboration space in alignment with the Government of Canada’s Workplace 2.0 directive- Designated as the Departmental Security Officer for Agency, representing the Agency with respect to physical and information security.- Implemented security program for the Agency- Managed the agencies facilities and accommodations needs in collaboration with PWGSC and building management in four locations
