This piece of software was designed with codebase scalability in mind and houses tens of payment integrations (PayPal, Klarna, Afterpay, Apple Pay, Adyen, Alipay etc).I have a background developing in accordance with PCI DSS. 3D Secure / PSD 2 has been a key focus recently which also covers the new customer initiated / merchant initiated transaction initiative driven by Visa and Mastercard.In my opinion, one of the most important aspects of software design is maintainability. Having a well structured and predictable environment that works with developers rather than against us is key to enabling us to produce our best work; having a maintainable system makes it so much easier and enjoyable to achieve the other key tentpoles of software development such as security and scalability. Team Leadership: I acquired the team leadership title pretty early into my career. It's been quite the learning curve that never really ends. I've been so privileged to work along side such amazing developers over the years. I'm always so grateful to take on that mentorship role, especially with graduates, and watch them grow in confidence and skill.
