His interviews and speaking engagements include: The U.S. Navy Memorial (DC), Pritzker Military Library (Chicago), National Public Radio, The History Channel, and the New Jersey Military Book ClubPacific Air: How Fearless Pilots, Peerless Aircraft and Fast Flattops Conquered the Skies in the War with Japan is scheduled for publication in April 2011 by Da Capo Press, a division of Perseus Books.Such Men as These: the Story of the Navy Pilots who Flew the Deadly Skies Over Korea was published in May 2010 by Da Capo Press. It has been reviewed in the Washington Times and Kirkus Reviews. An excerpt appears in Military History QuarterlyAt War with the Wind, published by Kensington Books in October 2008, details the U.S. Navy's unprecedented air-sea duels with Japanese kamikaze attackers.David's earlier book The Last Epic Naval Battle: Voices of Leyte Gulf chronicles the exploits of 60 sailors and aviators in the last and most decisive sea battle of World War II.David has a BA from the University of Pennsylvania and an MS in Industrial Relations from Cornell University's School of Industrial and Labor Relations.Specialties: Writing, Speaking, Editing
