I’m responsible for maintaining our 250,000 sq. ft hotel facility, including the guest roomphysical building structure, all mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems, and related equipment in accordance with energy conservation and preventative maintenance programs. Ensure the upkeep of guest areas to maintain our newly renovated property. In addition, I will conduct walk-throughs and visually assess the safe and efficient maintenance and operation of related functions, verify completion of all routine maintenance on public spaces, meeting rooms, ballrooms, outlets, backof the house spaces, and grounds. I’m responsible to hire, train, discipline department staff, and hold staff accountable. I adhere to all corporate-required purchasing policies and controls, including but not limited to contractor bids, budgets, and schedules and follow prescribed safety procedures for personnel and equipment by the company and OSHA. I maintain effective Energy Management and Preventive Maintenanceprograms and conduct special training for other operating departments on thesafe and efficient use of equipment and energy in the hotel. Managing Engineering Operations and Budgets Works with property and regional engineering leadership team to determine how Engineering is performing against budget and highlights areas of concern to leadership. Manages the physical plant including equipment, refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, water treatment and electrical systems in accordance with Standard Operating.
