The CIC consists of approximately 7,800 commissioned officers whose primary duty is the safety, supervision, administration and training of over 52,000 Cadets. CIC officers are members of the Canadian Armed Forces and belong to the Cadet Organizations Administration and Training Service (COATS). This sub-component of the Reserve Force consists of officers and non-commissioned members who, by the terms of their enrolment or transfer, have undertaken as their primary duty the safety, supervision, administration and training of Cadets or Junior Canadian Rangers.CIC officers serve in the sea, land or air elements and receive specialized training to prepare them for their duties as youth leaders. Many of them are former cadets who wish to give back to their community.

Part of a large team of AME's responsible for line maintenance and heavy aircraft inspections on company DHC-8 aircraft as well as aircraft owned by third party customers . My time was split between the heavy inspection team and the "Boot Shop" inspecting, testing and installing deicer boots on leading edge panels for company aircraft as well as for third party customers.

Security Officer/Dual SupervisorResponsible for providing guidance and daily supervision to staff in the department. Supports and administers operational goals and monitors achievements of performance. Supervised a team responsible for counting all funds in 5 casinos operated by Ontario Lottery and Gaming. Hire, train, supervise, discipline, counsel and terminate team members. Adhere to Alcohol and Gaming minimum standards. Establish and maintain work schedules. Oversee count room operations and team members. Cage and Main Bank SupervisorOntario Lottery and Gaming. Part of the supervisory team responsible for all cashiering and secure funds areas in the casino. Responsible for the direct operation of the gaming cage and vault. The individual will be accountable for funds, balancing Cage Cashiers, verification of wins, handling customer disputes, enforcing department policies and procedures.

During my time with the OMNR, my duties focused primarily on the maintenance and repair of the fleets CL-215 Aerial Water Bombers. Extensive travel across the province.Aircraft maintenance engineers are responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing aircraft to ensure safe operation. Aircraft maintenance engineers work long hours on emergency repairs and must carefully follow regulations. Dismantling, inspecting, testing, repairing, and reassembling aircraft engines.Installing electrical circuits.Testing communication, aircraft, and electronic instruments and systems.Testing and replacing oxygen system components.Assembling aircraft frames.Conducting routine preflight inspections of engines and mechanical systems.Keeping detailed records of all maintenance work.Maintaining the company's facilities and equipment.Ordering parts and supplies, as needed.Upholding all safety and security procedures and regulations.
