About David Seng

I have over a decade of experience in the specialty coffee industry which has given me the opportunity to work in a wide range of roles with coffee. Since early 2009 I have owned and operated a specialty coffee training school for baristas in Melbourne, Australia. Currently, I am involved in delivering barista courses and consulting to the coffee industry at The Espresso School. I was elected to the board of directors for the Australian Specialty Coffee Association (ASCA), as head of the Barista Guild in late 2019. In the same year, I successfully certified with World Coffee Events to become a sensory judge for the World Barista Championship.In 2023, I was elected to the position of Vice President for ASCA.
