Having the privilege of growing my first business to serve 120+markets taught me many humbling lessons. One frustration that nearly all business owners can relate to is the “necessary evil” of accepting credit cards. It always felt like a tax to me and was full of smoke and mirrors and false promises. Due to the high cost and lack of clarity and control, I ended up vertically integrating payments into my company and starting our own internal processor. Once we were up and running I had many other business owner friends that knew me and trusted me (and had experienced many of the same frustrations) so they asked me to set them up as well. Soon friends of friends were calling and Commission Buddies was born.We do things quite differently. We actually share in the revenue on your account with you 50/50. We literally pay you 50% of what we make from your account each month, so we become “Commission Buddies”. That is of course without adding any costs or fees to your current account. Also, as business owners ourselves, we work well with our customers since we understand them.
