Objectives: A career in management that will allow me to leverage my education and practical experience to establish a team dynamic which improves the quality of customer experiences, positively influences key store metrics, and increases employee satisfaction.Skills and Experience: Upon graduating from the University of South Carolina with a B.S. in Retail Management and a B.A. in Experimental Psychology I look forward to applying my combined education in human behavior and retail management with my work experience in the Retail industry to become a manager that is both potent at driving results in key metrics but also cultivating the type of team environment that both motivates and inspires. During my internship at CVS as a Manager in Training I was fortunate enough to get mentored by the locations Store Manager and gained broad exposure to performing the tasks necessary to successfully run a CVS location at the general management level. Additionally, I got to utilize my project management skills to plan and initiate a program to increase awareness of the stores extended line of HSA/FSA eligible items for the program's Capstone Project. I have always had a passion and a talent for leading from the front as well as a love for leaving other's days better than when I found it. When combined with my driven work ethic, talent for project management, and skills in data and behavioral analysis, I know that I am capable and determined to create the type of team environment I would want to work in and achieve excellence through driving key store metrics when I start my career in retail management upon my graduation.
