A graduate of Eastern Kentucky University, I have worked for some of the largest and most successful businesses in the world. In 2018, however, I first ventured into the world of public service. In early 2018, I teamed up with a lifelong friend and colleague to co-found Anew Alternative, a 501c3 nonprofit dedicated to serving the people of Frankfort, KY and surrounding areas. A short time later the organization acquired the Riverview Counseling location in Frankfort, KY, and has operated from there ever since. Anew Alternative provides free and low-cost behavioral and substance use counseling to hundreds of Kentuckians every year, and we have never turned away a client due to an inability to pay.In addition to my nonprofit work, I am a Kentucky board certified Emergency Medical Technician, serving the wonderful people of Woodford County, Kentucky. The healthcare needs of Kentuckians are ever evolving, and my work has allowed me to work with people from all walks of life. My educational background provides me with a unique perspective, and I constantly work with my superiors and peers to research new ways to not only provide excellent medical care, but to fund new technologies aimed at improving patient outcomes through advancements in medical science.
