Then keeping contact with customer selling training packages and service contracts on all supplied equipment. Then in turn carrying out these items as required.

Carry out installation, commissioning and service of automated machinery. This robotic equipment was usually in the plastics industry throughout the UK. It also included programming the equipment to suit the customers exact requirements. I also took the opportunity to sell service contracts.

Later I had the opportunity to go on site and carry out the commissioning of the supplied equipment. This allowed me to get a significant experience of working at customers sites in different countries around the world.

I worked mainly within the injection moulding department along with the introduction of robots and automation of assembly systems. I also wrote specifications for the supply of new machines. I was very involved with many European wide projects. I also worked on the engineering management team to ensure a smooth and efficient running of all the plant.
