my responsibilities included: - All operational and proactive efforts in West Michigan. - All personnel issues including hiring, training, scheduling, and annual evaluations. - Branch inventory reviews. - Coordinating contracts for lawn care, snow removal, trash removal, and all other building and vehicle maintenance requirements. - Sales forecasting and development of annual sales action plans. - Key branch account responsibility with annual volume of $1,000.000 During this time, branch operational profitability improved by over $100,000. This was achieved by increasing sales and margin percentages as well as reducing excess staff.

This position was my first at Bearing Service. My responsibilities included: - Taking customer inquiries over the phone, providing quotations and processing orders. - Sourcing items that were not in company inventory and issuing purchase orders. - Working with Outside Sales to produce quotations and assist in relationship building. - New account development as a telemarketer. My most significant achievement during this period was a single order from a customer in my territory that was worth $325.000 at 63% margin. I also received the Bearing Service Outstanding Service Award in 1996.
