Responsible for the procurement, sourcing strategy, price negotiations, and overall program management of the following Direct Materials for all programs & platforms for GM, Ford, Chrysler, BMW, etc.: Bushings, Ball Joints, Bearings, Stampings, Fasteners.

● Commodity Buyer – Strategically sourced the following commodities: Springs & Snap Rings and Carbons; totaling $3 million & $5 million in annual spend respectively. Procured over 5,000 production items for dependent & independent demand from over 7 Critical Suppliers.○ Maintained & Improved Supplier On Time Performance up to 15%○ Realized Direct Material Cost Savings of over $150,000 representing an Annual Decrease of 2% in total spend

● Buyer – Responsible for the procurement, supplier selection & development, quality, and availability of the following commodities: Bearings, Seals, Fabricated Components, etc. Managed 7,000 parts, and greater than 150 Suppliers; totaling over $7 million in annual purchases.○ Improved On Time Performance from 57% to >80%○ Reduced Inventory on Hand by ~$500,000

● Commodity Buyer - Residential & Commercial Tanks and Fire Pump Engines. Managed and developed over 10 critical suppliers to an aggregate average On Time Delivery Performance of greater than 95%.● Global Castings - Grey Iron, Brass. Commodity Buyer-Planner managing over 60 suppliers, supplying over 1,300 part numbers representing $12 million of Annual Purchases. ○ Active participate in two critical and successful manufacturing and material Kaizen events.○ Re-designed & provided new forecast to global suppliers in order to increase material availability from 80% to > 95% & reduced supply risk.● MOQ Reduction Project Leader – Negotiated with over 20 strategically selected suppliers resulting in MOQ $ reductions of nearly $500,000 & lead time improvements all without a single price increase. Project results were highly critical for the success of ITT’s continuous implementation of Lean Manufacturing principles & inventory reduction directives.● Leader of ITT Recycling Green Team – Successfully quoted and implemented (July 2010) an alternative scrap metal & recycling company. Negotiated new contract resulting in a 40% increase on the annual return of scrap & recycled materials; valued at more than $250,000. Furthermore, simplified & increased efficiencies (removed non-value added steps) to processes in regards to product, data and communication flow. Reported recycling data directly to management and work with numerous ESH leaders to increase the awareness of ITT’s Green Initiative. Lead weekly recycling team meetings, consisting of over 10 team members, to ensure the continuous advancement of reducing ITT’s overall environmental footprint.● Mentor for ITT Internship Program – Interviewed numerous candidates for ITT Summer, 2010 Internship Program. Played a critical role in the selection process & the successful hiring of 3 highly motivated individuals. Mentored and assisted all three interns on separate strategic cost reduction projects.
