After returning from Operation Iraqi Freedom, I returned to The University of Kansas and was involved in a motor vehicle accident which has left me a Paraplegic. I've spent the last 6 years fighting health related issues and feel as if I am able to return to the Higher Education Arena. As a disabled Veteran, I've been given a second chance at my education and plan to continue my studies in Computer - Electrical Engineering. I am highly motivated and intend to become involved in many student activities revolving around my major and other Veterans in the University. I also plan to stay involved with S.T.E.M. and become involved in the Wounded Warriors program. I have met with Industry leaders during the S.T.E.M. June Challenge and look for mentor-ship and the possibility of Internships in the industry revolving around possible DOD related programs. However, I do not limit myself to any specific genre of Computer - Electrical Engineering, I do enjoy R.F.I.D. and small signal analysis. I plan to accomplish a wide variety of educational programs including Microsoft Certification and Cisco Certifications along with my degree.
Listed skills include Matlab, Event Planning, Microsoft Office, Teaching, and 10 others.
