Our company is involved in the management of various special events, conferences and other projects. We have been facilitators for the Ontario Tourism Education Council and served as consultants and coordinators of the Festivals and Events Ontario Conference in 1995. We are also administrators and supervisors for the annual Kiwanis Club of Lakeshore Children's Summer Camp. We have extensive experience in coordinating many types of events such as Beach Parties, Cocktail events, various types of Gala events as well as indoor and outdoor weddings from concept to completion.

The main focus of my position is to work with our Foundation team, individual donors, various groups, organizations and service clubs, along with special events and draws to raise necessary funds to provide the Sault Area Hospital with the financial resources for equipment purchases so they may provide the best healthcare for the citizens of Sault Ste. Marie and surrounding area.

The Sault Area Hospital Foundation was charged with the largest capital campaign in the cities history and that was to raise $13.5 million dollars as the final amount towards equipping our new hospital. The new hospital would be built of this final piece of financial commitment could be met. The city and surrounding are responded to the hard work of hundreds of volunteers and many campaign staff and raised a total of $30 million dollars when the campaign was completed. The new hospital was built and opened on March 6, 2010.I was fortunate to be one of the team members to work on this once in a lifetime project.

My main focus, in addition to being hands on for all projects, was to manage the day to day operations of the company, manage staff and oversee all financial affairs and contracts.COPS Marketing Group Inc. handled in house advertising such as Transit, Billboards, and static signs in high traffic areas. Marketing analysis and consulting is our specialty. We did specialized printing and managed various print projects for a varied clientele from monthly newsletters to Annual Reports.Our other division CMGI Event Management has handled many different sized events for a wide range of clients. Some of the projects we were involved with are, Galaxy Cinemas, Grand Opening Sault Ste. Marie (12 theatres), Eco Challenge, North American Championships, Sault Ste. Marie, Managing invitation and RSVP lists for 10 Grand Opening of Casinos at racetracks for Ontario Lottery and Gaming, PAVRO Conference, Sault Ste. Marie, Tourism Sault Ste. Marie, too mention a few!

Each year I was contracted for 4 months (March to June) from 1999 to 2005 to execute and oversee the Annual Five Car Draw which is the largest fundraiser that the Foundation has.

Along with two Board members, one representing Employee rights and one representing Employer rights I would conduct hearings to give appellants the right to present their case in defence of allegations that they had contravened the Employment Insurance Act and collected benefits that were not permitted. The Chairman is charged with the responsibility of writing the decision of the Board for each case and stating the parts of the Act that have been contravened.

Management of office and day to day operations. Responsible for achieveing sales goals and looking after client requirements within geographical area.

Manager of day to day operations of the agency, personal financial counsellor for clients, supervisor of staff, agency budget and client trust account. Public realtions and education as well as forming partnerships with creditors was an intregral part of the positon.
