• Supported diesel hydrotreater unit turnaround by coordinating three unit decon Pre-Safety Startup Reviews and unit return to service PSSR. Completed 18 MOCs for piping changes to address safety needs for future decon events and updating unit to current site standards for utility-to-process connections. Thirty four day turnaround completed with no recordable injuries, no H2S monitor activations, under budget, and three days early.• Developed scope, managed project, and performed MOC to upgrade discharge piping on Sundyne wash water pumps to mitigate issues with check valve fouling during an unplanned unit outage. Executing the project during the unplanned unit outage saved the company $0.203MM. • Secured $2.845MM in out of plan funding to inspect bank of overhead fin fan exchangers and change all bundles on the run without a loss of production. Developed work scope and project execution timing with maintenance organization and business team to retube six banks and purchase two new banks to mitigate safety risk of personnel exposure and without unit rate reductions. An unplanned outage to change bundles would cost $8.37MM.

Operate manual lathes and vertical mills to repair ANSI pumps, double suction split case pumps, rotary screw pumps, and gearboxes.

• Used Best Work Practices and Site Standards to write 13 MOCs to plan piping jobs for upcoming major turnaround for crude unit.

• Used SAP, Excel, and Process Industry Practices document to calculate Mean Time Between Repair and Average Annual Repair Cost for Critical Rotating Equipment.• Interpreted MTBR and AARC data to identify Site Wide and Unit Wide Bad Actors that started conversation on changing overhaul frequencies on gearboxes to save company approximately $1MM per gearbox overhaul.

• Performed Root Cause Failure Analysis on failed seals, wrote 13 RCFA reports and distributed reports to internal and external customers.

• Developed and created a 300+ page detailed turnaround work schedule package using PowerPoint. Plan resulted in reducing turn-around from 28 days to 16 days.• Responsible for preventative maintenance on pumps, motors, and gearboxes in plant. Performed PM inspections, oil changes, hand packed grid couplings, and file PM inspection reports.• Disassembled and reassembled extruders, reactors, and milling equipment for cleanouts and grade changes.
