• Defined and implemented the global supply chain strategy for $197M annual spend for medical X-Ray tubes, High Voltage Tanks and Generators. Supported five global production facilities in US, Mexico, France and India.
• Collaborated with Engineering and supplier quality teams to develop supply base for all New Product Introductions and existing Installed Base supply chain improvements.
• Improved cash position by $6.8M over eight years by increasing supplier payment terms.
• Collaborated with materials team to reduce site inventory over $4M by initiating on site Supplier Consigned Inventory and supplier managed Kanban’s.
• Reduced logistics costs by blending regional sourcing for most components with globally sourced critical parts. Utilized deferred air and ocean transit based on lane costs between suppliers and consuming site.
• Leader for the GE Healthcare Conflict Minerals Initiative from 2011 to 2014. Wrote the GEHC policy and implemented the initiative for GEHC from scratch, coordinating with a cross functional team within GEHC and across.

• Managed the Tubes Purchase family that included 190+ global suppliers and $147M annual spend. All portfolio spend dedicated to parts needed for global manufacturing of medical x-ray tubes.
• Purchased technologies included bearings, ceramic insulators, machined castings, powder metals, bar stock, precision machined parts, and pumps.
• Achieved $19.7M productivity over four years.
• Reduced supply chain risk by implementing a ‘Zone 4’ strategy to move over $20M of complex parts purchased from single suppliers to dual sourced situations.

• Managed the supplier relationship with 25+ critical technology suppliers that accounted for more than $55M annual spend.
• Worked in conjunction with tubes engineering and manufacturing to improve the supply base for x-ray tube component suppliers while providing 4% annual productivity and tube quality improvements.

Managed the expansion of metal tube production line to include new metal tube for GEHC VCT system. Integrated six-sigma and lean manufacturing concepts into the production line to reduce labor costs and increase output capacity.

Managed three shift production team of metal x-ray tubes for GE Healthcare. Production team covered all aspects of tube production (insert, tube loading, testing and shipping). Team included 40+ production associates over three shifts. Managed production volume increase of 5 fold as PTL, including interviewing new production staff, managing training.
