Working in Governance and Community Management, I am responsible for the election programme for the Society’s Fellowship and Foreign Membership and members of Council, the Society's governing body, working with the President and Vice Presidents on election policy in line with the Society’s Statutes and Standing Orders.Committee Secretary for several key Society committees including the 11 election committees, the Nominations Committee, the Committee Advising Council on General and Honorary Candidates and the Elections to the Fellowship and Foreign Membership Committee.Devised, developed and maintain online systems relating to the Fellowship such as the Society’s online Fellowship Elections system (e-Lect), Committee Volunteer system and Year Book editing system.Budgetary responsibility for the Central Secretariat and Editor of the Society’s Year Book. I also have experience in large scale event management and flagship social events such as the Society’s New Fellows Seminar, Admission Day and Anniversary Day; and the Society’s Annual AGM. Managed and developed the company’s School Inspector training programme and the School/LEA consultancy team. Administrative project manager on Consortium 2000, a London wide consortium of 14 LEAs and 4 private companies delivering the DfES Performance Management initiative to London based head teachers. Managed OFSTED’s Numeracy Inspector training programme delivering HMI courses to all Primary School Inspectors. Line managed a staff of six.
