A typical LifeVest patient is in the hospital awaiting discharge, and I set up the equipment and train the patient and caregivers on the LifeVest. I also follow up with patients as needed to assure patient understanding and satisfaction. Responsibilities include:Manage equipment & garment inventoryContact caregivers and family to schedule fittingsConduct evening and weekend activitiesTravel to patient's homes for fittings or follow up visitsProgram equipment according to the prescribing physician's ordersMeasure the patient and determine correct garment sizeTrain the patient & other caregivers in the use of the LifeVestComplete and submit HIPPA compliant documentation
