Develop infrastructure and systems minimum security baseline technical standards.- Develop Disaster Recovery Plans (DRP) / IT Service Continuity Plans for UN Global Service Center applications and infrastructure. Design test scenarios and plans, conduct periodic DR exercises. Determine deficiencies and develop improvement plans. - Provide OR support to the UN DFS field missions. Review DR Plans and Tests for UN field and provide support for improvement.- Perform ICT Security Assessments of UN DFS field missions and provide security awareness training.-Participate in designing and engineering internal processes to ensure that organizational ICT data is appropriately protected from a wide variety of risks including unavailability, and cyberattacks.- Serve as a member of the incident response team. Monitor the infrastructure and provide alerting and reporting service for information security practises, processes and events. Consolidate and report key ICT security and OR performance indicators obtained from local ICT operational groups.- Provision of expert technical assistance with the design, implementation and operation of a variety of ICT Security and OR supporting systems. My main duties were:1) Service Management and Technical coordination:- Manage the Service Desk, Campus Support, Network Support and Servers Support teams (12 technicians): Assign and oversee tasks, and provide technical direction for service delivery and incident resolution. - Analyze incidents and service requests, perform problem management, and prepare monthly reports. Liaise with other ICT teams, business sections and external service providers.- Design and implement processes for incident management, request fulfilment, event monitoring, capacity planning, network and server’s performance monitoring, servers and networks administration, backup and data replication, patch management and malware management.2) Information Security Management:- Design and implement procedures, guidelines and security controls to ensure compliancy with the information security policies of the organization, healthcare industry regulations (LOPD) and international security standards (ISO 27001).- Perform internal security audits and assist external auditors in security audits.- Create and maintain the Disaster Recovery / Business Continuity plans. - Design and implement incident detection and event management systems. - Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to information security and service availability.3) Project Management:­ Assist in the preparation of business cases and ICT budgets.- Evaluate proposals for new projects, ICT systems and applications. ­ Planning and manage ICT projects, based on PRINCE2 standards.- Coordinate the project teams, oversee the project progress, identify risks and solve issues and prepare status reports.
