I am a senior consultant at the Financial Services Team of FTI Consulting Brussels. I provide support across a range of EU policy activities and work with a wide range of financial services clients on developing and implementing their policy strategies at EU level. I work on a great variety of financial services issues, notably on market infrastructure, banking and asset management as well as on fintech. Currently, I advise financial services companies on political and regulatory risks, in particular those relevant for the market infrastructure providers, banks and asset management industry. My focus lies on the European Market Infrastructure Regulation (EMIR), Listing Act, REMIT, MIFIR/D.Prior to joining to FTI Consulting, I worked at the European Parliament on Foreign & Security Policy (AFET/SEDE). I also worked as a political and economic analyst in the Political & Economic Section at the Embassy of the United States of America in Budapest and at the IDEA Institute primarily as a Foreign & Security Policy analyst through which I worked with several political groups and MEPs. I am a writer or co-writer of numerous papers on Russia, China and the EU’s strategic autonomy.
