Working as a professional musician with over 25 years experience playing with various bands that toured Europe and the U.K. I had the opportunity to move into stage lighting when a well known local rock band, needed a lighting rig for a small tour. From small beginnings, I saw the opportunity to move into a lighting production, providing lighting solutions for venues with live music.My experience as a musician helped in understanding what made a music gig tick and I quickly established myself as a reliable supplier and operator. My break into full time production came when I was asked to supply and operate the Legends show at a large conference. The producers were so impressed they quickly booked me for all the Legends Christmas shows that year. After working with Legends on many corporate events I was asked to supply the lighting rig for their new summer season venue on Blackpool's central pier, where I worked with the show for four years. More recently I have designed and installed the lighting rig for the Legends Christmas shows at the Royal Armories conference centre in Leeds In 2001 I was asked, by Stuart Littlewood to design and supply a lighting rig for his new Abba Mania show After a long highly successful U.K. tour the show played at The Strand theatre in London's west end for 17 weeks. From there the show broke into Europe and played eight sell out weeks at the prestigious Deutches Theatre, Munich. Recently I was involved with the show when it broke into Russia and played at the home of the Royal Ballet, in the Kremlin, Moscow. It was the first tribute show to play in Russia.Though "Rock n roll" is my first love I am also involved as a a freelancer working on various conference projects, both supplying and operating Over the years I have built up a small but reliable team of independent operators and suppliers, who between us can offer the full production package to suit most budgets.
