Extensive Management experience gained over 35 years in the Aviation Industry. A career started as a Passenger Check-in agent, then working as an aircraft Flight Despatcher before moving into Operations. Periods of work in various operational departments from Operations Control, Route and Performance Planning, Commercial Sales and Engineering Planning, Flight & Ground Operations before becoming an Airport Station Manager. This position involved the oversight and running of specific airports, liaising with service providers and Airport Authorities and included managing the Company employees based there.Having demonstrated the ability to manage and run various Airports to a high standard of performance, accepting direct responsibility and accountability for all daily operational matters. Working and maintained strong relationships with Airport Authorities, service providers, contractors and the general public to maintain high levels of customer care and Company standards. I was moved to a position in the Outstations and Overseas Department at Company Headquarters which involved opening, auditing and overseeing new airfields utilised by my Company. I have been fortunate to be involved in numerous contracts and projects worldwide on which I have proved myself to be self-motivated and able to work independently of supervision whilst furthering the interests of my employer. I am approachable and have a professional outlook to problem solving, accepting advice from all areas and levels of personnel, along with high commercial awareness and excellent public relations skills.
