Responsible for the daily supervision of the foundry which produces sacrificial anodes of aluminium and zinc for the oil, gas and renewable energy industries ensuring all health and safety standards are maintained,orders are managed and targets are met,..identifying the training needs within the department and conducting risk assessments as part of the company's commitment to continuos improvement.

Responsible for shift manning deployment, taking daily information centre meetings conduct daily minimum standard audits, use problem solving tools through lean, encourage continuous improvement. Making sure safety standards are maintained ensuring a zero injury safety culture conduct incident investigations. Organise training needs of the shift and liase with other departments to ensure resources are available to meet targets including raw materials and plant machinery, deal with dicsaplinary issues when required .

Part of a team responsible for planning pot line power outages to bring on line new cells for production in the preheat stage for restart.

Responsible for planning ,implementing and executing Forklift training for over 350 employees over a twelve month period and the same for lifting and slinging,keeping records and updating the quality management system.
