I am an Associate Professor in the School of Computing at Dublin City University.I am a member of the Dependable Systems Research Group based in the School of Computing.My research interests are in the application of formal methods and the design, analysis and verification of computer based systems, particularly embedded and distributed systems. I am particularly interested in data security and governance in cloud-based systems. I also am interested in the use of AI and game theory in strategic games.I am a Senior Researcher in Lero, the Irish Software Engineering Research Centre. Lero is funded by Science Foundation Ireland and its mission is to address specific challenges and themes that can have a significant impact on the success of the software related industry in Ireland and abroad. We are specifically investigating Critical Systems that have the ability to evolve over time in order to handle a changing environment.Specialties: System Design and Verification, Formal Methods, Cloud Computing, Distributed Systems, Embedded Systems, Artificial Intelligence in Strategic Games.
