I am a highly dedicated and motivated professional with four years experience working as a WTG Composite Blade Technician.Since 2016 have been working as a sub-contractor blade technician with WindCom and Special Blade Services (SBS).During my work assignments with WindCom and SBS I have worked in extreme locations and conditions across Europe and North Africa, using all types of Skyclimber work platforms.I have now gained experience in all aspects of internal and external inspection and repairs (CAT 1-5) as well as the application of vortex generators and various types of leading edge protection.Some of these repairs have been CAT 5 and done on the ground as the damage was to big to repair in-situ.   During my time with Windcom I learnt  basic Spanish as most of my colleagues come from Spain or Latin America,  this was essential to ensure we could communicate effectively and work safely on site.Before my career change in 2015 I had over 16 years experience within the aviation industry. My role as onboard cabin crew manager dictated that I be conscious of and adhere to all health and safety regulations, perform risk assessments and carry out comprehensive onboard safety and security checks every day to meet Aviation Authority Regulations.Having no previous mechanical, electrical, technical experience or knowledge I enrolled myself on too and completed two wind turbine industry Diplomas and a blade inspection and repair course in Germany, which I funded myself.I feel with all the experience and transferable skills I have gained within these two different industries I can now work and adapt to many different work environments and roles and can handle most tasks confidently and efficiently.I believe my previous success has come from being positive, enthusiastic, flexible and adaptable, I also have a high level of energy with a can do attitude.Which ever job I am in I always try to ensure my clients and customers feel satisfied and that their expectations have been met.Moving forward, my future goal is to find a  company that will help in my long-term future career progression and personal development.
